Ruth and I and friend Jenny decided on the spur of the moment to do a round trip to the snowy mountains yesterday. Driving up through Tumbarumba and on to "Sue city" and then to Cabramurra. Took the top road over to 3 mile dam and Selwyn and on to Kiandra then home through Tumut. I tested out many theories on shooting snow scenes and came to a range of conclusions. On a sunny day altimately it matters not, IMHO whether you over or under expose as it is fixable in Levels in PS. Having said that Plus 1 EV seemed to be an ideal setting for general scenes with lots of snow.
